Valvoline Helps Address Transportation Barriers

In-kind donations are an important way the Samaritan Car Care Clinic stretches financial donations to offer a hand up to families in need.  Since 2007, Valvoline has graciously donated motor oil that the Clinic uses in its weekend volunteer led oil change events.

The Clinic now has four groups of volunteers that offer complementary oil changes for clients of Brighton Center, Ion Center, NorthKey, Gateway Community College’s Ready to Work program, Life Learning Center, and more.  So those volunteers go through a lot of oil!
