Newport Night Out Back to School Event

Each year the Newport, KY, Police Department sponsors “Newport Night Out,” a back-to-school event co-sponsored by multiple social service agencies and companies located in Northern Kentucky.  The 2024 event was held August 6.  Location was Riverboat Row, right behind the Newport Aquarium, and with the Ohio River as the other backdrop.

Officer Paul Kunkel of the Newport Police Department invited Jim Dennis and Bruce Kintner from the Samaritan Car Care Clinic to set up a table for this year’s event.  In a nice coincidence, the Clinic booth was right beside the booth for Brighton Center, one of the Clinic’s referral partners.  It was a wonderful community event!
