Marty Butler Receives Pioneer Award

Marty Butler has served as the board chair for the Samaritan Car Care Clinic since its official founding in 2020. His help and support have been beyond fantastic.

Given all that Marty has done over the years to help those in need, it is no surprise that the Kenton County Fiscal Court recently chose Marty as one of its 2025 Pioneer Award recipients. The Pioneer Award recognizes Kenton County residents who have a record of outstanding service to the community.

Marty has been involved in helping non-profits for decades, including leadership roles with Habitat for Humanity; St. Vincent de Paul of NKY; the Butler Foundation; Catalytic Development Fund; Parish Kitchen; and of course the Samaritan Car Care Clinic.

Marty is beyond humble, and so routinely deflects praise for his efforts. This time, he can’t avoid the publicity. We are so pleased for Marty that the Kenton County Fiscal Court chose to honor him for all that he has done for the community. Thank you Marty!
