The Ft. Thomas Corvette Club is holding its 25th annual charity car show on Saturday, August 8. For the first time, the Club’s non-profit partner is the Samaritan Car Care Clinic! It is such an honor for the Club to select the Clinic this year. The Hofbräuhaus has graciously offered to donate a portion of the lunch proceeds that day to the Clinic. So come out, have some great food, see amazing cars and maybe even a few trucks, and stop by the Clinic table. This is a fun and unique opportunity for you and your friends to support the Clinic. Hope to see you August 8!
WHERE: Hofbräuhaus in Newport WHEN: Saturday, August 8 10:00 am – 2:30 pm ADMISSION: Free.
Walk around and take in all of the car sights. If you have a vintage car you would like to enter for judging, the fee is $20, payable at registration.

Earlier this week, the Samaritan Car Care Clinic was able to sell a safe and reliable car to Life Learning Center employee David. David’s existing car was pretty much at the end of its life, and having it break down was a near constant threat. Fortunately the Clinic received a donated Lincoln MKZ sedan that still has a lot of life left. Now the Lincoln has a new home with David!
At the Samaritan Car Care Clinic, we have 3 repair bays, but we also have a Book Bay! Thanks to generous donors who stock the Book Bay, kids who are waiting at the shop with their parent/guardian can read and also take a book home with them.
These happy kids were with their mom at one of the recent volunteer-led maintenance events, and were thrilled when they realized that they could take the book home with them that they were reading!
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, volunteers hosted a maintenance event at the Samaritan Car Care Clinic. The volunteers were able to do 16 oil changes and vehicle inspections in just under 4 ½ hours. Thank you to all our volunteers and everyone who helps make this possible!

How can my family get a car. We have been trying to get a referral there and no-one had been able to help us.
